Description
The wines of Vérité, which means “truth” in French, represent a harmonious blend of old-world expertise and new-world fruit. Each wine is crafted from a distinct combination of unique components sourced from small vineyard blocks, resulting in a carefully balanced union of grape varieties, climate, soil expression, and winemaking techniques. Vigneron Pierre Seillan describes this approach as “droit du sol,” or “right of the soil.” Vérité is committed to producing uncompromising wines that authentically reflect their terroir. One notable creation, Vérité La Joie, draws inspiration from the esteemed wines of the Pauillac region in Bordeaux. This wine is characterized by a rich concentration of Cabernet Sauvignon vines cultivated on the steep hillsides and volcanic benches of the Mayacamas Mountains. Seillan oversees a mosaic of over fifty micro-crus to achieve the complex signature profile of La Joie.
