Description
Taylor’s Fine White Port is a blend of wines made from white grapes primarily cultivated on the upper slopes of the Douro Valley. The grape varieties used in this port include Arinto, Boal (Malvasia Fina), Codega, Esgana Cão, Folgasão, Gouveio, Viosinho, and Rabigato. Each wine is aged in oak vats for approximately three years, allowing them to develop mellowness and character. These individual wines are then blended to create a rich white port that embodies the traditional smooth and full-bodied style. It features a rich and fragrant nose with aromas of mellow fruit complemented by hints of honey and oak. The palate is velvety with a full body, leading to a long and flavorful finish.
