Averbode is a blonde abbey beer of 7.5% alc./vol., dry-hopped and with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Ingredients: Water, pilsner malt and Munich malt (malted barley), oats, spelt, hops (four kinds) and yeast. Colour: Golden yellow (or lightly veiled by the secondary fermentation in the bottle) with a fine head. Smell: Floral, green apples, a hint of sweetness and delicate hop aroma Taste: Full-bodied, sweet malt and a pleasant hop character by carefully selected hops. A fresh, rich and bitter aftertaste make this a real unique beer experience.
