This wine was made from Chardonnay grapes grown along the Benchlands of the Niagara Escarpment. Oak aging lends toastiness to aromas of green apple and rounds out crisp grapefruit flavours on the palate. Buttery nuances carry into a long, smooth finish. Refreshing in its youth, it will develop richness with bottle age. Serve lightly chilled with grilled or roasted salmon, chicken with gratin potatoes, grilled pork or pasta dishes in cream sauce.
